Adult Pediatric First Aid CPR/AED

American Red Cross Program.

The First Aid course incorporates the latest science and teaches students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid emergencies such as burns, cuts, scrapes, sudden illnesses, head, neck, back injuries, heat and cold emergencies. The Adult and/or Pediatric CPR/AED course teaches students how to respond to breathing and cardiac emergencies to help victims of any age - adults (about 12 years and older) and pediatric (infants and children up to 12 years of age).

Approximately 1-2:30 hours.

To successfully complete the certification process each student must:

  • Attend the entire course.
  • Participate in all skill sessions and scenarios.
  • Demonstrate competency in all required skills and scenarios.
  • Pass the final written exam with a minimum grade of 80 percent if required.

Certificate Issued and Validity Period:

2 years
